PRCD 3000 Specifications

The primary use of the PRCD 3000 is to serve as a key component during Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) and Under Balanced Drilling (UBD)operations. The design incorporates a dual element bearing assembly for a redundant sealing barrier within the wellbore. The PRCD 3000 forms a passive (wellbore assisted) seal on the drill string and provides the ability to contain pressure within the wellbore while performing normal drilling operations.
With a static pressure rating of 3000 PSI and an aggressive range of dynamic ratings, the PRCD 3000 provides the necessary operating range required for MPD/UBD operations employed in the drilling of today's unconventional wells.
The PRCD 3000 comes equipped with the Pruitt Automated Power Unit and Clamp Operating Stand. The Automated Power Unit provides ˜uid ˜ow that lubricates and cools the RCD and is maintained by Pruitt personnel. The clamp operating stand can be posistioned anywhere on the rig ˜oor for quick access to open or close the hydraulic clamp of the bowl.
The Pruitt High Pressure systems can be used with a variety of Pruitt RCDs. When the time comes to transition from low to high pressure drilling, the process can be as simple as an RCD change, saving hours of rig up time.
